My favorite part about working in the wine room is Michael’s wine of course, but also the
incredible people that I have the chance to meet when they walk through our doors.
My favorite Comanche wine…wait, I only get to pick ONE?! I do love the La Vaquera, but my new favorite is our Maverick.
My personal hobby is spending time with my two amazing kids.
I was drawn to a job in the wine industry because I grew up with wine and the appreciation for each varietal but I wanted to expand my knowledge and learn from someone who had a passion for wine making.
My favorite thing about working in the wine room is that the people are always so warm and friendly, eager to learn about and enjoy Michael’s wine! They want to hear the stories of the wine, grape varietals and the winemaker himself. We’re not just pouring you a glass with empty interaction, we’re creating an experience that connects people to the wine. Working at Comanche has brought truly wonderful people into my life, I feel so lucky!
My favorite Comanche wine is Il Rinnegato -- a fantastic Super Tuscan wine, a nostalgic tribute to the nuances of a traditional Italian red. Perfectly named ‘The Renegade’, it’s a cheeky nod to the history of Super Tuscans that shaped the course of Italian winemaking!
My hobbies include anything arts. I love music, drawing, singing, writing, reading, museums, painting, theatre, cinema, all of it! I caught the travel bug when I was 20, and now I’m always planning my next adventure.
I'm drawn to this industry because wine is always changing. It’s a subject that will never stagnate because it’s a product of countless variables, the complexity of wine is what drew me to the industry. It’s completely fascinating and I never want to stop learning more!
My favorite thing about working in Comanche Cellars Wine room... Well, that's hard to pin down to just one thing. There's just so much about it, the warmth of the lighting and interior design, the smiles and delight that people have when they enjoy the wines, hearing their laughter and good conversation with friends and family, knowing that
they've had a great experience visiting our wine room.
This is all possible because we have such a great team. I love my co-workers, manager and owner of Comanche Cellars -- they're all amazing!
My fave wine is the Maverick. I love the blending of the Sangiovese and the Sarah. So delicious! Perfect for a cold winter night by the fire.
My hobbies, let's see… I absolutely love cooking for family and pairing good food with great wine. My son, daughter and two beautiful granddaughters are who I spend time
with when not at work. When I'm alone I love guitar, art and opera and my Canaries, Caruso, Carmen and Placido.
I am drawn to a job in the wine industry because it gives me an opportunity to not only acquaint people with new wines but be a facilitator for a great experience with some of the best ones I've ever tasted. It's very satisfying and enjoyable to make people happy and to see how pleased they are with the product we provide.
My favorite thing about working in the wine room is learning about wine! I never could’ve guessed how much there is to learn.
I have to say one of my all time favorites is our 2018 Negrette. But I can honestly say there isn’t a single wine of Michael’s I haven’t been a fan of.
Some of my favorite pastimes are travel, photography, music, and spending time with friends and family.
I’ve been in the restaurant and bar industry for years but transitioning to the wine industry has been such a pleasant experience. The people and atmosphere are so inviting and a joy to be a part of.
