  My favorite part about working in the wine room is Michael’s wine of course, but also the incredible people that I have the chance to meet when they walk through our doors.
  My favorite Comanche wine…wait, I only get to pick ONE?! I do love the La Vaquera, but my new favorite is our Maverick.
  My personal hobby is spending time with my two amazing kids.
  I was drawn to a job in the wine industry because I grew up with wine and the appreciation for each varietal but I wanted to expand my knowledge and learn from someone who had a passion for wine making.​

​​  My favorite thing about working in the wine room is that the people are always so warm and friendly, eager to learn about and enjoy Michael’s wine! They want to hear the stories of the wine, grape varietals and the winemaker himself. We’re not just pouring you a glass with empty interaction, we’re creating an experience that connects people to the wine. Working at Comanche has brought truly wonderful people into my life, I feel so lucky!
  My favorite Comanche wine is Il Rinnegato -- a fantastic Super Tuscan wine, a nostalgic tribute to the nuances of a traditional Italian red. Perfectly named ‘The Renegade’, it’s a cheeky nod to the history of Super Tuscans that shaped the course of Italian winemaking!
  My hobbies include anything arts. I love music, drawing, singing, writing, reading, museums, painting, theatre, cinema, all of it! I caught the travel bug when I was 20, and now I’m always planning my next adventure.
  I'm drawn to this industry because wine is always changing. It’s a subject that will never stagnate because it’s a product of countless variables, the complexity of wine is what drew me to the industry. It’s completely fascinating and I never want to stop learning more!

​  My favorite thing about working in the wine room is introducing people to their new favorite wine!! Always fun to get acquainted with a customer’s palate while helping them to find something new and exciting. 
   My favorite Comanche Cellars wine is so hard to choose! The Pinot Noirs we produce in this part of the world are beyond amazing! Michael lets the wine speak for itself, and his choice of grapes and AVAs are never disappointing 😊  
Being mostly a dark red lover, our Malbec and Petite Sirah are my go-tos, but I honestly love all our wine! 
   Anyone who has met me knows that I’m happiest when surrounded by dogs, so give me a beautiful day with some puppies and I’m in heaven. 🥰
And I’ll never turn down a beach day or a hike in Big Sur!
   I love working in wine industry because wine is such a work of art; it involves science, agriculture, geography, and storytelling… The social and cultural aspects of sharing wine while discussing aromas and flavors never gets old.
Working in the wine industry not only teaches me about local winemaking practices, but also leads to gaining knowledge of global cuisine, culture, and lifestyle that no other industry offers.

    My favorite thing about working at the wine room is the relationships you create with your customers. Many are locals and enjoy our adventurous wines and others are visiting Monterey from all over the world! I love getting to hear their personal stories and their love for our delicious and unique wine varietals!
    My favorite wine that Michael makes...ooh, that's tough! On a warm, sunny day, I love the sparkling pet gnat! It's fun, bubbly, and is perfect for a girls Sunday Funday! On those colder Monterey nights, Trousseau is probably my favorite... it's bold, yet with cherry notes that balance the wine
    When I'm not working, You can usually find me cheering on my kids at their water polo game. But know, I'm not like a regular mom, I’m a cool mom. In my free time, I'll most likely be in the gym or running on the rec trail. 
    I'm from the midwest, so when we moved to wine country, I wanted to learn more about wine. When I first walked into Comanche, the ambiance made me feel right at home! It’s country meets chic with vibrant and captivating wines.

  ​I can't limit why I love working in the wine room to just one thing. I started as a club member so obviously I love the wines, but I have met some truly special people both on the Comanche team and those who walk through our doors. I enjoy sharing what I love about Michael's wines with others and I love the fact that Michael makes single varietals you rarely see elsewhere such as Graciano, Sagrantino, Carignane and Negrette.
  It's hard to pick a favorite Comanche wine as I love so many, but I was a huge fan of the 2020 Graciano which sadly sold out. My current favorite is probably a tie between the 2020 Negrette and the 2020 Il Rinnegato, both bolder reds. 
  My hobbies include music, long walks on the beach, travel, cooking, pairing wines with the food I make and spending time with my family and friends. 
  I've always wanted to learn more about wine and the winemaking process. There is so much science that goes into the process and it's interesting to discover how climate, terrior and soil among so many other things can affect the grapes and wine itself. Working in a wine room has been my dream job since retiring and moving back to CA. I am so happy to have this opportunity with Comanche.
